Re-imagining Nusrat

Tomorrow, FUNQAR is hosting Re-imagining Nusrat, an intimate listening evening devoted to the recorded works of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, the legendary voice of Sufi qawwali. A voice that has moved people to tears in languages they don't even speak. Not a concert, but a slow listening session in low light, on a proper sound system. Sit or lie back, close your eyes and simply listen. No need to know the words.
